I dont know how long I was there exactly but I didnt feel rushed at all which was nice. Do the clean up and get dressed and I am on my way. Bag comes off and she goes back to kissing/licking me during the HJ till I pop. She was going a bit fast and after a while she asks if hand is ok to which I say it is. She lets me lick and kiss her body and she starts the CBJ and its pretty nice. She kisses me up and down and licks my nipples and as I'm roaming she takes off her top and has nice B cups with nice nipples. She grabs a hot towel and after does the whole alcohol clean up and she grabs a bag. I saw AMPSeeker say mouth was 100 so I just fronted the cash since as I said before this was my very first time and I was not going to haggle. After about 10 min she starts doing this soft touch/teasing thing and asks me to flip and motions to junior and then to her mouth which I oblige. They are all definitely wearing some sort of chastity belt as I felt it underneath her leggings. She works me up and down with oil and I am free to roam. I ask for the HH and pay the 40, she lets me get undressed and asked how hard I wanted my massage to be. Place is nice and clean and the room felt private with the nice big curtain. One of the ladies that greeted me was younger looking and the one who led me to a room was maybe early 30's. Door was locked so I gave them a quick call and they opened up and I was greeted by two ladies, I believe there was a 3rd who was with someone. Get there and park behind the building and go through the small back alley as AMPSeeker stated. My first time ever going to an AMP so nerves might have lessened the experience for me. Total damage was 60 house + 60 tip = $120. Was a nice change having extras at the beginning & then not worrying about that & just enjoying the massage. She rolled her knees up and down my back, which felt amazing ! More massaging and hot towels till time was up. She did this great move where she got up on the table & straddled my back. She cleaned me up with a hot towel & asked me to flip again, so instead of a happy ending, I guess this was a happy beginning. Depends ? I don't know, but I popped rather quickly. She had some kind of weird undergarment under the mini skirt. I was able to freely roam all around her body. I said I only had $60 more, so hand it was. She started stroking jr & asked if I wanted hand or mouth. Kind of odd, as you usually flip 30 or 40 mins into an hour massage, but I went with it. We were now about 10 mins in and she whispered in my ear to flip. This quickly turned to soft touch with much teasing and fondling of junior and the boys. She started with some light rubbing of my back and legs with some deliberate teasing. My provider was Amanda who looked to be late 20's and had decent b cups with a slender body. There is nice soft music playing throughout. The place is clean with full walls that go all the way to the ceiling with curtains for doors. Both were young and cute & they wear matching outfits - red/black plaid mini skirts with black tops. They had their laundry drying on the fence when I went out.Īnyway, there were 2 girls working around lunchtime today when I went. There's a little parking lot to the right of the front door with a small alleyway that will take you around back. I rang the bell at the front door which was locked, but later learned there is a back door. AMP is on North Broadway next to the Kawasaki Dealer.

“O Captain! my Captain!” is one of Whitman’s most recognized and anthologized poems––so much so that later in life Whitman was quoted as saying that he was almost sorry he ever wrote the poem. The relationship between the captain and the sailor (in this case the speaker) is one of admiration for the captain’s leadership, and charisma. The speaker is completely distraught at the fact his captain has passed away. The captain lying cold and dead on the deck of the ship sets a solemn and somber tone by contrasting the scene before with celebrations of the ship’s arrival in the harbor and the captain’s death. Six lines later the speaker notices the captain on the deck of the ship after having survived tough winds. The underlying meaning of the ship is the Union and the captain is Abraham Lincoln. The metaphor extends throughout the poem. This dramatic elegy is broken into three stanzas and begins with the speaker shouting to his captain that their trip is done. A revised version of the poem then appears in “President Lincoln’s Burial Hymn” in Passage to India (1871) and finally in the “Memories of President Lincoln” cluster in Leaves of Grass (1881). “O’Captain! My Captain!” first appeared in the Saturday Press on November 4, 1865, and was later published in Sequel to Drum-Taps (1865-1866). The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,įrom fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will, My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still, Rise up-for you the flag is flung-for you the bugle trills,įor you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths-for you the shores a-crowding,įor you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting, The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won, The poem uses short form of poetic lines.O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done, Although most of his poetry is supportive of the political issues but in most of his poetry Whitman dealt with the theme of democracy. Like William Wordsworth Whitman believed that everyday life and everyday people are fit for the subjects of poetry. We can see a sense of variety in his poetry. Walt Whitman has always tried to experiment with poetic diction on different level by including slangs, colloquialism, and dialects. But in spite of that he tries in vain to wake him up. He is aware that their leader will never rise up again. The above line registers that the writer so anxious for a miracle from the god. “My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still.” He considers the death of the leader of their country as a great loss. In the last paragraph of the poem the writer requests to the dead leader to rise again to stand again for the country and to enjoy the fruit of the victory that he had brought by his own shoulder. O Captain! My Captain! as an Elegy of Abraham LincolnĪs the speaker was mourning the death of Lincoln and at the same time he also sprays lilac onto the coffin and by doing this he serves homage to the great leader. When America was having the simultaneous rate of death and population growth then the poet tried to focus on the individual growth of the state. The dead body of the leader is really important. The last phase of the poem is a mixed image of one side the public enjoying the victory over the enemy at the same time the poet is carrying the body of the leader. But the amount of genocide happened there in the state was really noteworthy. The death of their favourite leader was an added nook to the history of America. The writer, Whitman focused on the individual loss. Lots of people were killed almost like cattle and bloodsheds drained through the city road like water. The situation of the country was really volatile and vociferous. The society of the contemporary period of the United States of America confronted a huge amount of social dilapidation. It became almost impossible for the state to raise its head again. It had almost broken the backbone of the states. But the inevitable period of the civil war almost stunted the growth of the country. The state expanded to a large number of areas. The country tried to rise in its all possible ways. During the course of the 19th century America made a tremendous growth in its social arena. Glucose molecular formula is C 6H 12O 6 it has six carbons, twelve hydrogens, and six oxygens. So, we can calculate the molar mass of any compound in the same way we calculate the atomic weight from its constituent elements.Ĭonsider an example of glucose. Therefore, the atomic weight times the molar mass constant results in the molar mass. The average atomic mass and atomic weight are related by the following equation. The atomic weight (aka relative atomic mass) ( A r) is a dimensionless quantity having the numeric value of the average atomic mass. Table 2: Average Atomic Mass to Molar MassĪverage Atomic Mass (or Average Molecular Mass) (u) The table below lists the elements (and the compounds) with the average atomic mass and the average molar mass. But this value approximately equals 1 g mol −1.įrom the above equation, we can say the numeric value of the molar mass and the average atomic mass is approximately equal. Therefore, the average atomic mass divided by one unified mass unit times the molar mass constant results in the molar mass. The above equation can convert u to g mol −1. But this quantity is in the unified mass unit (u). So, the mass of a mole of the atom is m a × N A. M a is the average atomic mass or the average mass of an atom. The unified mass unit is related to the molar mass constant ( M u) by the Avogadro constant ( N A). The average atomic mass is measured in the unified mass unit (u). If the average atomic mass ( m a) or average molecular mass is known, we can convert it into the molar mass ( M) with the help of the molar mass constant ( M u). It could vary from sample to sample depending on the percentages of constituents in the sample. This is true for all atoms of carbon-12 in the universe. For example, the atomic mass of carbon-12 is 12 u. The atomic mass is constant for a particular isotopic element. The existence of isotopes is accounted for since it is a bulk property. G mol −1 is the standard unit for the molar mass. It has a unit of the unified mass unit (u) or the atomic mass unit (amu). The atomic mass is the sum of the mass of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Table 1: Difference between Atomic Mass and Molar Mass Atomic Mass The table below describes the differences between the two. But they are two different quantities with a definition. The atomic mass and the molar mass are confused with one another. It is used to convert the mass of a substance to its mole and vice versa. Thus, it can vary with a terrestrial location. It is dependents on percentages of consistents of a sample. So, it does not vary with the size of a sample. It is a bulk property, not atomic property, of a substance. Some of the important points regarding the molar mass are as follows: Figure 1: One mole of sodium chloride NaCl weighs 58.44 g Hence, we have one mole of NaCl measured. So, we measure 58.44 g of NaCl with a weight scale, which is equivalent to one of 58.44 g. But we know 58.44 g of sodium chloride is equivalent to one mole of it. If we have to measure one mole of sodium chloride, there is no instrument that can directly measures it. The molar mass of sodium chloride is known it is 58.44 g mol −1. Let me make it more clear with an example of sodium chloride. Thus, by knowing the molar mass, we can determine the number of moles contained in a given mass of a sample. The molar mass links the mass of a substance to its moles. Although there is no direct way to measure the number of moles of any substance, the number of moles can be calculated by knowing the molar mass of the substance. Calculations often include quantities like molarity, molality, mole fraction, molar volume. In chemistry, calculations are related to chemical reactions and stoichiometry. When we say the molar mass of carbon is 12.0 g mol −1, it means one mole of carbon weighs 12.01 g. Thus, one mole of carbon contains 6.022 × 10 23 atoms of carbon. This number (aka Avogadro’s constant) is mostly approximated to 6.022 × 10 23. We know that one mole of a substance consists of 6.022 140 76 × 10 23 elementary particles. The SI unit is kg mol −1, however, it is very uncommon. In other words, it is the mass per mole of a substance. The molar mass of a given substance is defined as the mass of a sample divided by the moles of that substance in the sample. It measures the mass of a mole of a given substance. In chemistry, the molar mass is an important quantity. |
